Flavor:

Pineapple Mango - I have had a few mango-flavored products on the market and Xtend/Xtend Perform has always been my favorite. Pineapple Mango is a very bold pineapple flavor complimented with a surging mango aftertaste. The mango flavor pairs extremely well to provide an extremely refreshing flavor. At first, I thought the pineapple would be overbearing, but after the aftertaste hits you the mango flavor shines. This is a fantastic flavor especially for those who love fruity flavors. The combination of both flavors is pure and makes a fantastic flavored product.

Mixability:

PPK has no issues when it does come to mixing. Given the 13g profile and active raw’s per serving I had my doubts, there may be clumping or residue that settles on the bottom of the shaker. That does not seem to be the case here. After 10-15 shakes this was dissolved. There may be a slight glimpse of foam but that fades away fast.

Cost

When you factor in nearly $3 a serving it will be a hard sell when buying direct. $60 for a 20 day supply equates to 4-5 weeks for most gym goers. Blue Star does run 50% off promo’s from time to time, so this is when you will want to keep your eyes peeled to buy. At $30 for 20 servings, it is a much more cost-effective option.

Great video man! I agree on the flavor, mango is stronger but I love mango. We also stick with moderate stims as you noted, focusing more on effective performance ingredients backed by science with just enough kick to go along with them.

Really looking forward to your thoughts after the workouts

Feedback

Fasted (Today)
Energy came on quick and lasted the entire session with 0 issues. As a stand-alone, you do not get a whole lot of pump, but the endurance and recovery factor stayed strong throughout the session. I don’t chase a pump on legs, but the accumulation set of leg press had my legs full of blood with 6 sets and 0 rest between sets. Moving into leg extensions and a similar fashion of 7 sets with no rest had my quads on fire and veins popping. Overall very pleased with a tough leg workout on empty with PPK.

Fed (Yesterday)
A lot more pump (extra sodium, water, carbs throughout the day), and a great fast-paced upper body push day. Pump and focus entire workout was strong and smooth. The energy was long lasting into the post-workout period. Came home took a shower, had a meal, and energy was still high. 200mg is my sweet spot, the extra 50mg doesn’t crush me, but I am noticing some post-workout headaches that last for quite a bit. I found the energy to come on 15-20 minutes after drinking.

All in all 2 productive workouts. The slight headache is getting to my head on both workouts into the post-workout period. Not really a full on crash, but noticeable.

Odd on the headache part. I’ll see if we have any feedback similar. Glad to read it’s been productive for you so far minus that.

Thoughts

  • Headaches still present post-workout (Must be not reacting well to a certain nootropic)
  • Good endurnace, recovery throughout the session
  • Able to beat the log book from the previous week
  • Flavor is just right, refreshing, and delicious.

Still looking into the headache and to see if and what compound could cause that.

Nice session btw! Strong logging on your part so thank you for that

Thoughts:
This was yesterdays session around 4 PM in a fed state

Pre-Workout Meal (90 minutes prior to gym)
Carbs : 50g
Water up to this point 1 gallon
Sodium → Sea salted every meal (3 meals prior to gym)
PPK: Taken 10 minutes prior to gym

Pumps were there, but this really is not a formula meant to give you skin bursting pumps. Energy comes on around 15-20 minutes after ingesting the pre-workout, it hits you, and then sustains for the length of the workout (60ish minutes) and into the post-workout period. I can go home shower, and then prepare a meal and still feel the effects of the pre-workout. I find my recovery and endurance to be pretty typical to the full blitz and vasoblitz stack I am use to running. I do feel the slight headache pop into my head, making me think its a nootropic in the formula that is causing me to have adverse effects. I have ran everything in PPK In the past ingredient profile wise (betaine, peak atp, creatine, hydration complex’s, bioperine, astragin etc) So this makes me think this is the underlying issue.

Hordenine and Huperzine A i have used in several pre-workouts and in energy drinks, so my narrow guess is : Beta-Phenylethylamine 100 mg

could be wrong… could be right, but just a stab in the dark.

I did one workout over the last week since getting PPK with fullblitz and had no headache or issues,

Speaking with Chris, there has not been any feedback on headaches so far. Anything is possible though and we all react differently to different compounds. If you used the original formula that had Beta-Phenylethylamine and it didn’t cause headaches then maybe it’s not that. Could be a combo of the few.

Let me know if they subside after a little more use.

Absolutely will do. I had a few samples of the old but its been so long ago.

Sodium - 1-1.5g per meal from sea salt
PPK Dosing -15 minutes prior to workout

Thoughts:
Great leg day, a similar workout to last week, but the focus is on intensity techniques and beating the log book. After the leg press, the Goblet squats were brutal as I do them with a 3 second negative and pause at the bottom of each rep. Overall endurance and performance is steady, energy is steady, but there is that slight headache crash afterward. All in all its not as bad as it was day 1, but still noticeable.

Pump is present but not the strongest I have had. Given the profile it makes sense since it’s not filled with Citrulline, Nitrates, glycerol, and other Pump based ingredients

Pre-Workout Meal (90 minutes prior)
Carbs - 40g
Water - 1/2 Gallon
Sodium - 2 Meals with Sea Salt
PPK - 15 Minutes prior to Workout

Thoughts:
Recovery and Endurance is staying strong , as expected given the ingredient profile. Energy hit is not too long after ingesting the pre-workout (10-15 minutes) while some pre’s take a while to kick in. Headaches are fading which is great because it doesn’t hold me back during a workout when its annoying in the back of my head. None the less training is great, weights keep going up, and the mirror is in my favor. Win Win Win

Nothing worse than a headache while you’re trying to lift. Glad to hear it’s subsiding

Glad to hear it’s subsiding as well. That should mean it is one of the nootropics as you thought it possibly was.

Thoughts;
Very similar in the last few days here. The pump is still a lacking factor, but given the ingredient profile, you have to expect that. “Power” and “Performance” are the shining factors as the log book is slowly being beat week in and week out. While the pre-workout plays a small factor to that my nutrition and sleep (for the most part) is locked in. Except for days like today where I wake up at 3:30 AM for work.

A little better pump here (Hypertrophy focused day), but it doesn’t shine as much as a true pump pre-workout or a formula/ingredient profile product that reflects that aspect. None the less the performance and endurance continue to stay strong as rest times and the log book kept being beat
Energy is good, about halfway through the workout I felt great until a small headache kicked in. Energy lasted well past the workout into the 90-120 minute range. Expected with the nootropics associated with it.
