i 40 years old, i am 1000’s of chips ahoy cookies ahead of you young whippersnappers.
I’m 50 and look forward to the Ghost Coffee Ahoy Whey.
This may win the over-hype award:
I just tried the white 3D energy drink. Wow. I’m addicted! I’ve been anxiously awaiting Ghost to release their Grapefruit Pre, but this will do for now. It’s so refreshing and smooth. I know I’m light years behind everyone else, but the Frys (Kroger) I go to just got these in and they are 2 for $4 so I decided to try one. Glad I did! Ranks way above any Raze or C4 flavors, with the exception of “Sour Batch Bros” flavor, but that’s more of a RTD pre anyways.
My top so far is:
- White 3D
- C4 Sour Batch Bros
- Raze Sour Gummy Worm
- C4 Twisted Lime
- Green 3D (tasted like Mtn Dew)
I can see this being a very polarizing flavor.
The whey itself doesn’t have much flavor. The flavor comes from the cookie pieces, which taste just like chocolate chip cookies. If you don’t like to chew your protein shakes, this is not for you.
That’s a bummer. I’m always expecting A+ when they do these legitimate product collaborations.
I’m gonna second this (not that it tasted like coffee). I was expecting much more. The whey tastes almost EXACTLY like Cellucor Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough back in the day and with the addition of cookie pieces. I would give it a 7.5 or 8 /10. For Ghost - I still think the PBCM & Coffee Ice Cream are the best flavors, i would say Blueberry toaster pastry is slightly below the Chips Ahoy. I would rank something like MTS PBCC, MTS Aussie Triple Chocolate Biscuit, MTS Red Velvet, MTS Gourmet Mint, PES FCC, PES Vanilla, JYM S’mores, PES Cake Pop all ahead of the Ghost Chips Ahoy. It’s a good flavor - just was expecting more from the hype. I’ve tried as a shake & in oats - so maybe ill start to like it with more uses - but as of now that’s my impression.
I don’t claim to have the ‘what’s coming next’ acumen of @TheSolution but gut feel is that something is in the works:
Gotta love how he talks about himself and his “contributions” to the industry like @NutraBio didn’t exist long before him and has been more transparent since 1996
Need more pixie sticks bro
Gotta spike that insulin
Hahahahahaha…it’s unreal man
You can’t deny his contributions to the Industry though.
Although I could do without his reading his comments to us.
Or Haribo Gummy Bears!!
Plus Post Jym,
Plus Pro Jym
The OG Chemix stack
Ghost has new monthly apparel that may or may not taste like coffee…
Such as?
Brands were transparent before him. Brands made fully loaded pre’s before him. Ideal timing with supplements and nutrition was known before him. Proper doses of popular ingredients were established before his entry into the market.
Maybe he was one of the first to film his contributions and post them on YouTube.
Look at how incredibly successful the brand and his following is…BB.com went through the roof when they introduced his line. And honestly, his supplement line was the first true’ system’ that I remember. His leaving BB.com for GNC was huge news…that doesn’t happen with just any brand.
Here are the numbers published by Price Plow:
What’s a “true system” ?
Pre/Post/Protein designed or at the time at least marketed to be used together. A lot of the companies I saw around the time offered those, but never marketed them as a system to be used together…they simply offered all three. Pretty ingenious…
supplement consumers are uneducated, hate to say it… marketing campaign was huge for his line too.
Pre/Post/Protein has been marketed for a long time… NO Xplode, Cell Mass, Syntha 6, comes to mine as my OG stack
