I don’t know why companies continue to make BCAA supplements. I guess it’s to sell them to people who don’t know any better…LOL
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. BCAAs have a place for people don’t get enough protein/BCAAs OR for people who want to kickstart the MPS pathways (think intra-workout and then a whey shake 40 min later)…
Heck, I enjoy drinking them because they taste better than water - but give me a full EAA instead with an awesome flavor. I get more than enough amino acids from my diet, but I guess I am a sucker for drinking aminos anyway.
I will use one occasionally (But def not buying a $40-$50 can) for the added flavor, electrolytes and BCAA’s during work or during a workout if it extends over 1 1/2 hours. Very rare when I actually drop money on them though. Prefer a quality protein powder over them that I can add to a meal
Put me in that sucker category…If it tastes good I’ll drink it Intra-Workout. I used to drink Xtend because of flavor and I liked it…it worked for me…Is there a huge difference now that I use EAA’s…Hell I don’t know…reaches for Starbucks Iced coffee
Truth. I do feel I recover better when I use BCAAs/EAAs or HMB.
So, there is something to be said for that, if someone is comfortable spending the money.
I’ve never used HMB…always read good things…well good and ‘eh’ actually…
Personally use EAA/BCAA Intra…and am now less focused on ‘shake’ after and will eat or mix an EAA with Carb10…If I go shake it’s usually a WPI…I’m feeling much better actually. I don’t believe I have any allergies but the Isolates or BCAA/EAA’s make me feel less bloated if you will.
I’ve been taking HMB at 3g/day for a couple months now, and haven’t really noticed any difference. But it’s cheap enough in bulk to keep in my daily stack.
Then you will like the Alpha Amino Ultimate with the added HMB @Matt_Towson
I’ve already had it. And I do prefer Myodyge over standard HMB.
Got a free sample NAC; finally going to try it out! Now to figure how much and how often
…@brawn?
600mg twice a day
Free is always good! If I am reading that right, it’s 600 mgs per capsule. One a day is plenty, two at the most split during the day. Most dosages I have seen are anywhere from 500-1000 mgs.
Since its free, definitely take it. But if you are wanting a particular liver support product, I prefer tudca…
They make these look so good but its a shame they taste so bad…LOL
lol, I knew someone was going to say that. Bulksupp is sometimes too conservative with their recommended dosages ![]()
Cool, thanks!
Yeah, tudca some day…too expensive, and I’m probably just being paranoid with my liver. But I’m not going to derail this thread, lol
Not a problem. Remember the liver is a very tough organ and can regenerate itself, however, its never a bad idea to take precautions. Even with Anavar as my only oral on this cycle, which isnt very liver toxic, I still took precaution. One tudca pill a day. It’s cheap on Amazon.
So NTel decided not to disclose a simple EAA formula?
Yeah unless these are revolutionary in taste and below 75¢ a serving, no thanks
Amino9 has patented ratios. If they’re using the patented blend, whether the label discloses it or not, it’s easy enough to find out how much of each amino is present.
