MRE Bar “German Chocolate Cake”

Redcon1 seemed pleased with this one and I believe it is my favorite of the MRE Bars.

You’ll notice from the pics below, the bar is primarily chocolate coating and chocolate filing. The filling is covered by a white cream layer of the coconut portion.

This tastes like a protein bar version of an almond joy to me. The chocolate is darker than the standard milk chocolate flavor.

All in all, this was more of a candy bar flavor than the other bars, in my opinion. Very good taste and texture with the perfect crunch to chew ratio.

If you like MRE bars, I highly recommend this one as your next purchase!

Have you tried the carrot cake and/sprinkled donut one yet??

I forgot they had a sprinkles donut. Carrot cake is awesome though :yum:

Carrot Cake is great - I love carrot cake and this is one of a kind! Sprinkled donut is a floured birthday Cale flavor.

I’d go with USN’s new Trust Crunch bar if you want a Peanut Butter or Birthday Cake flavored bar.
