Corn Syrup and Hypoallergenic Baby Formulas

Same here, breastfeeding and supplementing with formula. We’re using a German brand called Hipp, which has an organic low lactose, whey protein hydrolyzate formula for easier digestion. They also make a hypoallergenic for babies sensitive to cows milk. Another good brand is Holle, which has a goat milk formula. Any of those would be better than the US brands, which only have to abide by the low standards set by the FDA.

Since we produce 400 million metric tons of corn per year, you know they have to put that shit on everything.

Yep, been down that road and tried both of those! Can’t handle much of any dairy sensitivity. Tried their goats milk too, same effect unfortunately - eczema everywhere and phlegmy.

Oh well, we’re almost through it, but I can see some massive gaps in the formula market… hmmmmmm…

Friend of mine also had the same issue, pediatrician recommended Similac Alimentum. It’s helped, but not 100% effective. So they just stuck to breastfeeding and his wife having to give up a long list of foods. Not an easy road
