L-Citrulline vs Citrulline Malate

What exactly are the benefits to using one over the other? I’ve never personally noticed a major difference, but I recall during a Silky Science podcast with Aaron Singerman, he said that pumps with citrulline malate last much longer as opposed to pure citrulline. Thoughts and info?
