BEST Pre Workout Supplements of 2019 - Top 5 MAINSTREAM Pre's

Not that you asked…

C4 Ultimate hits you harder…more urgency
Pre-Kaged sneaks up on you…you can do more without realizing it. But…but…I can only take Pre-Kaged for so many sessions in a row…something just doesn’t sit well with me…Kind of like the reaction some have to this thread.

We’ll see how the top 5 changes in 2020

I didn’t put ANY prop blends in here.

There it is.

I was being a tad sarcastic…

hahaha I had to find it. I’ve edited so many similar videos over the last week I didn’t know if i was going crazy

Side note @Extrabeef I had the same reaction to MFit Supps Havoc recently. Long story short…early flight to NJ from Chicago…arrived…checked in to my hotel…drank my Havoc, went to the gym and walking into the gym I was feeling really really good…had a really good workout - which made me laugh in your video, I couldn’t call anyone but had the same reaction - what the hell is in this stuff? I say that because I’m normally tired after an early flight and will take a pre on the road which usually does zero for me except to maybe wake me up a little…I just felt really really good.

Glad you felt the same! I’m a huge fan of it man.

We found a study where Watermelon extract enhanced the effects of citrulline…but other than that man it’s just manufactured well!

I personally believe that many of our impressions of products have been skewed due to poor manufacturing standards.

Personally, I just want to get in the zone to workout…good focus followed by a workout where my arms/legs don’t feel fatigued (thus pump)…I don’t need to be stimmed out of my mind like I was dancing up in da club…

Totally agreed.

I also think it’s important to note stims as compared to bodyweight. I sit pretty comfortably and lean at 260. 350 when split between anhydrous and di-caffeine malate is not a big deal at that weight. My aversion to hardcore products is not always the high doses of caffeine but the doses of caffeine and combined with gray area stims. the sum of all of that is just not what I need on a regular training day.

Which I always find ironic when the people who tell me they ‘need’ stims usually do not lift at the intensity/weight I do, and more often than not have more leisure-ful lives. I believe if your diet and recovery are together you don’t need to compensate as much.

But what do I know?

I’m guessing what is happening is BCAAs are being valued a bit higher then what most of the people here value them at, as well as natural flavors/colors in the case of prekaged.

(edit, or c4 ultimate’s prop energy blend, which I would disagree with as a disqualifier)

So a case of different priorities.

I would personally like to see a budget list, stuff that is a dollar or less per serving.

I’ve had way too many instances after high stims pre where i had post workout flu-like symptoms (aches etc…)

I personally actually made the case (if you watch the video) That I don’t want BCAAs in a pre and I would opt for many other things instead.

I’m looking forward to new products coming from Cellucor that will definitely look to be contenders in this list.

To be fair it is 30 minutes.

I figured it was mike pulling that string.

Mike trains fasted so he liked some Leucine. I physically can not do that, but I consume EAAs intra so no use in BCAAs pre IMO

Well @Extrabeef Jim Stoppani begs to differ
