You telling me you DON’T love paying a premium for worse textures and amino profiles?

Ironically I prefer the Intra. It’s the same flavor but with different emphasis on the beginning and end of the flavor

Have to help people of all dietary restrictions. some people prefer plant based.

I actually love the grittier texture of plant protein. I’m obviously an outlier in that regard, though… taste and the quality of the protein itself is what I’m more wary of.

You’ll enjoy this rework of nutrabio’s plant protein. There’s still some grit to it, but the flavors incorporate it well. I think it’ll be on their friday flavor video

I found during my testing days that many just wanted to limit dairy intake.

I personally dont mind the vegan protein powders.
Ghost Banana Pancake Batter is amazing
Nutrex Vegan powders taste better than 75% of the whey powders on the market and have 0 artifical colors, dyes, or flavors

Ain’t mad one bit!

This. I know some people who want to have multiple shakes a day, but not multiple whey/milk protein shakes a day. And of course people who can’t have dairy at all.

Of course. I understand the market, but i can still make fun, like how i make fun of the $5 keto shake RTDs at Whole Foods. Beneficial to a few, but overpriced and suboptimal to the rest.

just had a bottle of this sent to me. will have video up on 1/20

And with that in mind Your thoughts on BCAA/EAA drinks in place of Whey? Thinking in terms of Dr Serrano’s approach

This is what’s known as a “buzzword bullshit premium”. :joy:

I would use this…and I don’t use plant proteins often at all

So Plant Proteins are used in the case of Whey/Dairy allergies correct?

I know there’s at least one study showing, 6.25g whey with added leucine to match that of 25g whey increased MPS to a similar degree as 25g whey in resting conditions, but may not be as effective at keeping exercise-induced MPS and anabolism up.

I also saw a study in older women that found even low doses of EAAs with added leucine stimulated MPS as effectively as high doses of whey, although it was in older women and didn’t test it Post-workout, but if you’re talking just to get in one more time to spike/stimulate MPS between actual meals, then I think EAAs with sufficient leucine content would be fine TBH.
