I've always wondered about the lactose content of casein protein, would it be comparable to whey concentrate or closer to whey isolate?

There's definitely lactose in casein protein, but it doesn't seem to be nearly as high as a cheap whey concentrate. But not as low as a whey isolate. It's probably more similar to WPC-80, but that's just from my experience.

So it's still not for lactose intolerant users, but minor lactose sensitive users (like me) should give it a go. I'm fine with it... at least at a shake per day
